KRIDHA — Every Wave, A Love Story
01 — Introduction

Kridha is a love letter to the Indian saree.

India does not wear the saree as costume. It wears it as language — six yards of silk, cotton, and gold that have marked weddings, festivals, farewells, and first days of work for generations.

Kridha sources from master weavers and ateliers across Varanasi, Kanchipuram, Bhuj, Chanderi, and Paithan, then presents each piece with the care of a boutique: origin, weave, occasion, and the story in the pallu.

Search the house, add a saree to your cart, leave an address, and we will send the cloth to your door.

“Kridha” is play and devotion held together: the joy of dressing, and the reverence of craft.
A note from the founder

Cloth should feel like belonging.

KRIDHA began with a simple belief: the Indian saree is not a costume for special days alone. It is language — of celebration, of work, of quiet evenings, of the women who taught us how to drape.

I built this house to honour the looms and the hands behind each piece, and to bring those weaves to you with clarity, care, and the joy of dressing well. Every edit we share is chosen for origin, craft, and the way it will live with you.

Thank you for walking into KRIDHA. May every weave feel like a love story of its own.

One map, stitched entirely out of fabric.

Every scrap tells you exactly where it is from — a living portrait of India woven scrap by scrap, then held in the KRIDHA house as a reminder that cloth carries place, memory, and hand.

04 — The craft

From loom to pallu, nothing is anonymous.

Every Kridha saree carries its making: the cluster it comes from, the silk or cotton in the warp, the months on the loom, and the family that still holds the design in memory.

  • Handloom first, mill only when the weave asks for it
  • Fair terms with weaving clusters and ateliers
  • Occasion styling for weddings, festivals, and modern workwear
  • Care guides so silk and zari last a lifetime

Heritage

Sarees as living culture — not costume, not trend-of-the-week.

Atelier

Edited drops, not endless shelves. Fewer pieces, better chosen.

India, worldwide

A house for those who dress in drape, wherever they live.
